The photos for this classic Spanish estate are just a tease. We want more - exteriors, bedrooms, guest house. The paltry interior photos will leave you wanting more. It's got six bedrooms and seven baths and yet we see none of them. How tantalizing. According to the listing, the property is sited on a promontory with city and ocean views, and includes ironwork, stenciled and painted wood ceilings, French doors that open to the loggia, a dining pavilion and a pool. There's also a separate bar room, two family rooms and a screening room. The last time the house was sold, in July 1994, it went for $2.65 million (adjusted for inflation, that would be $3.86 million today). Today's asking price: a staggering $14.2 million or $2,065 per square foot - more than double neighborhood comps.
UPDATE: Yup, this is Meg Ryan's house. Relisted, it was originally priced at $19.5 million, according to the LA Times.
