Representatives from the Bel~Air Association met with Councilman Paul Koretz yesterday (November 19th) and were gratified that he has a complete grasp of the issues and challenges facing our area from the massive I-405 Sepulveda Pass Widening Project. Our Councilman's office has assured us that they will remain fully engaged and will be as helpful as possible.
Later that evening at a public presentation, LA Metro held a meeting to explain the project overview and answer questions. The massive project will create challenges and delays for some time, but LA Metro promised to deal with the problems as best as possible while completing a difficult and major construction project -- noting that they will be proceeding along with other major construction at Skirball and a major DWP project at Sunset near Church Lane.
