Family, Friends Search For Missing Brentwood Man in Bel Air

LOS ANGELES (CBS) ― Family and friends were looking for a 20-year-old man from Brentwood who was believed to be missing.

Jamie O'Connell of Brentwood had attended a party with his brother at a home in the Bel Air Crest private community Saturday, a family friend said. At around 1:00 a.m., O'Connell's brother reportedly left the gathering without him under the assumption that he would spend the night. On Saturday morning, his brother returned to pick O'Connell up, but he was nowhere to be found, according to the family friend.

O'Connell was last seen at around 1:30 a.m., according to friends.

The LAPD, West Los Angeles division Saturday afternoon sent a squad car to the location and a helicopter to scan the area twice, but were unable to locate him.

O'Connell is described as a 5'7 Caucasian male who weighs about 140 pounds with a muscular build. He has short blonde hair with gray eyes.

Please keep us posted.
Can you be more specific about where they are searching or think he might be?
