SECURITY ALERT: Gentleman Going From Home to Home in Bel-Air Asking for a Room for the Night

**AS A SECURITY ALERT...**
It has been reported that gentleman claiming to be from Switzerland has been going from gate to gate (home to home ) in Bel-Air ringing the gate intercom/bell saying he is looking for a room for the night.

The resident (on Copa de Oro Road) who reported the incident said that after they turned him away over the intercom, he appeared to hang-around, somewhat seeming to case the property/home. A staff member from the residence then went out to the gate and he immediately took off on a motorcycle.

He was wearing all black with a black helmet and appeared to be on a sporty-type bike (non-Harley type). The gentleman appeared to be of regular build and took off toward Sunset when leaving the Copa de Oro residence.

The resident informed ACS Security of the strange behavior and incident.

Separately, the Bel-Air Association called LAPD who sent a broadcast message out to the patrol cars in the area to keep a look-out.

PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE YOU DON’T KNOW ONTO YOUR PROPERTY.

IF HE IS SEEN AGAIN, PLEASE IMMEDIATELY CALL 911 OR THE LAPD NON-EMERGENCY DISPATCH NUMBER @ (877) 275-5273 (PRESS OPTION #1 TWICE) AND PROVIDE ANY LOCATION & UPDATED INFORMATION TO THE DISPATCHER.
