Please see a note from a Bel-Air neighbor:
On Christmas morning, a family on the Bel-Air Country Club course lost their beloved dog of 14 years. He was attacked in their backyard by a pack of coyotes, and killed violently. Their other larger family dog attempted to save him. She was urinated on by the coyotes, but unharmed. Their yard is fenced in, but the coyotes were able to scale the fence, or otherwise get in. The attack happened at 6 am, when a housekeeper let the dogs out.
Please continue to contribute to the monitoring program by emailing all sightings to email@example.com. Information is power when it comes to how we will address the coyote problem in Bel-Air & West L.A.
