FAMILY DOG KILLED BY PACK OF COYOTES CHRISTMAS MORNING

Please see a note from a Bel-Air neighbor:

On Christmas morning, a family on the Bel-Air Country Club course lost their beloved dog of 14 years. He was attacked in their backyard by a pack of coyotes, and killed violently. Their other larger family dog attempted to save him. She was urinated on by the coyotes, but unharmed. Their yard is fenced in, but the coyotes were able to scale the fence, or otherwise get in. The attack happened at 6 am, when a housekeeper let the dogs out.

This is so sad. The violence and nature of this event is heart breaking. As a member of the community that has lost their dog to coyotes, I can feel the loss. My support goes out to this family.
