REPORTED CAR BREAK-INS: Upper Stradella Road near Roscomare

As an ALERT, an Association member reported to the BAA office this afternoon that she has seen multiple vehicle windows broken over the last week on upper Stradella Road near Roscomare.

We don't have many details except for this report:

Approximately three vehicles were noticed with broken windows in the early morning late last week. An additional two were noticed around 7:45am this morning. One of the vehicles was a Black Lexus SUV.

Please be vigilant about not leaving items in plain view inside your car. Additionally, remove any and all valuables from your car whether you're parking on your residential street, in your driveway or during your daily travels.

We've heard directly from LAPD that criminals will break-in to cars just to grab beach towels, often thinking it may be covering up something more valuable.

Please spread the word to your friends and neighbors.

We will be contacting ACS Security and LAPD to confirm this report has been received.

The 1957 Bel Air in read is any car lover's dream collector's model.
What a great looking car, though for some reason it looked kind of corny about 45-50 years ago. ;)
