COYOTE CHARGES TOWARD OWNER & DOGS: 1000 Block of Chantilly Road @ 7:30pm Thursday Evening

Please see below a note from a Bel-Air neighbor:

1000 block of Chantilly Rd

7:30 pm on 9-8-11, coyote on the hill in neighbor's back yard. Owner was at bottom of hill with her dogs just a few feet from her backyard door to house while they went to the bathroom. When she saw the coyote running towards her and her dogs, she immediately took the dogs in the house.

Later that same night, at 10:40 pm, she took her dogs in her backyard within a few feet from the house door. A coyote appeared on the hill staring down at the owner and her dogs. She immediately put the dogs back in the house. The owner and her husband came back out and shined a bright light in the coyote's face. The coyote just stared. The owners threw rocks at the coyote, again the coyote did not move and just stared. The owners went back in the house to find something else to scare the coyote. When the owners came back out the coyote was walking back up their hill.
