COYOTE SIGHTING: 8am near Stradella Road & Stradella Court

Please see below a note from a Bel-Air neighbor:

This is a belated report of coyote sighting in our driveway on August 25, at 8:10am. I live near Stradella Road & Stradella Court. My front yard is not fenced.

I, as well as my neighbor, have dogs and cats that are occasionally brought outside on a leash. I lost one dog to a coyote in my backyard in 2010. It happened before I knew the seriousness of coyote problem in Bel Air, and used to take our dogs out to a fenced backyard. The incident was reported to Bel-Air Association at the time.

I have seen coyotes in our neighborhood before, but never after 8am. I feel the coyotes are now staying active even during the day.
