405 Work Notice: Sepulveda Blvd - Relocation of Overhead Power Lines near Getty

The contractor, in conjunction with LADWP, is relocating the overhead power lines on Sepulveda Bl at the under crossing by the Getty ramps. The operation now requires the placement of the vaults, requiring full directional closures of Sepulveda Bl. Relocation work is ongoing with vault placement starting Tuesday, January 10, 2012 for approximately two weeks. Anticipated work hours and closure times are from 9pm to 6am, weather permitting. Daytime operations may continue from 9am to 4pm with one lane in each direction.

What: Vault placement for DWP overhead electrical lines relocation

When: Relocation work is ongoing with vault placement starting Tuesday, January 10, 2012 for approximately two weeks. Anticipated work hours and closure times are from 9pm to 6am, weather permitting. Daytime operations may continue from 9am to 4pm with one lane in each direction.

Where: Sepulveda Bl under crossing, north and south of the Getty ramps

What to expect:

• Full closure of SB Sepulveda Bl between the NB Getty off-ramp and the SB Getty off-ramp.

• SB Sepulveda Bl traffic will be detoured to the SB I-405 Getty on-ramp.

• Nightly reconfiguration of NB Sepulveda Bl to one lane between the SB Getty off-ramp and the NB Getty off-ramp.

• Right turns from the Getty SB off-ramp to Sepulveda Bl will be allowed; left turns will be restricted.

• All other ramps will remain operational.
