Mulholland Bridge Restriping

ATTENTION COMMUTERS, RESIDENTS, AND BUSINESSES IN THE
VICINITY OF THE SAN DIEGO FREEWAY (I-405) AND MULHOLLAND DR

The contractor will re-stripe the traffic lanes along the Mulholland Bridge and slightly shift
the k-rail along the bridge. This operation will allow for slightly more roadway capacity on
the Mulholland Bridge. The activity is anticipated to begin on Wednesday, January 25, 2012,
and last approximately two nights, weather permitting. During the course of this work, the
Mulholland Bridge will be closed from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am each night. After the completion
of this work activity, there will continue to be a total of two lanes on the bridge after the lane
re-striping work. This lane configuration will remain in place throughout the reconstruction
of the Mulholland Bridge.

What: Lane re-striping and k-rail shifting along the Mulholland Bridge

When: Night time work is anticipated to begin on Wednesday, January 25, 2012,
and last approximately two nights, weather permitting.

Where: Mulholland Drive Bridge will be closed between the hours of 10:00 pm to
6:00 am

What to Expect:

-There will continue to be a total of two lanes on the bridge after the lane re-striping
work.

-This lane configuration will remain in place throughout the demolition and
reconstruction of the Mulholland Bridge.

-Emergency vehicle access will be maintained

-Pedestrians will be rerouted to a safe area outside the construction zone

-Please note that the work is weather permitting and subject to change
