Please see below reports from Bel-Air neighbors:
#2 - This morning we had coffee outside (near Chalon & Carcassone), and one of our dogs suddenly became very alert. We didn't see anything. She continued to sit very still, staring across the yard. She growled suddenly, and we saw a very large (and well fed) coyote stroll across, and down the side stairs to the lower yard. We watched it go into the neighbor's property. This was at about 8:30am. The coyote was clearly not the least bit afraid of us. Had our dogs not been leashed, she'd have chased it and we'd have lost her! We have to be vigilant about never, ever letting them out without leashes and careful observation.
#3 - Coyote in back yard near 900 block Stone Canyon Road. Led to a death of a pet around 8:30 pm last night. Aggressive coyote, came within feet of 2 people.
