Sepulveda Utility Relocation Near The Skirball Bridge

ATTENTION COMMUTERS, RESIDENTS, AND BUSINESSES IN THE
VICINITY OF SEPULVEDA BL BETWEEN MOUNTAINGATE DR AND
SKIRBALL CENTER DR


Further work to complete the undergrounding of overhead utility lines will continue on Sepulveda
Bl between Mountaingate Dr and Skirball Center Dr. The Los Angeles Department of Water and
Power will perform a jack and bore operation to support power conduit installation near Mission
Dump Rd beginning Monday, October 29, 2012. This operation is anticipated to last three weeks
and will be performed on weeknights between 9:00 pm and 6:00 am and throughout the entirety
of weekends between Friday at 9:00 pm thru Monday at 6:00 am. Sepulveda Bl will be reduced to
one lane in each direction during work hours.

Additionally, work to relocate overhead telecom lines underground will be conducted concurrently
on Sepulveda Bl between Mountaingate Dr and Skirball Center Dr. This work is anticipated to last
three months and will require Sepulveda Bl to be reduced to one lane in each direction between
9:00 am and 3:00 pm and 9:00 pm and 6:00 am.

What: Overhead utility lines to be placed underground

When: Weekdays, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and 9:00 pm to 6:00 am, with intermittent weekend
work occurring Friday night at 9:00 pm until Monday at 6:00 am.

Where: Sepulveda Bl between Mountaingate Dr and the area located approximately 500 feet
north of Skirball Center Dr.

What to expect:
- Sepulveda Bl will be reduced to one lane in each direction during work hours.
- Sepulveda Bl will be fully open during non-work hours.
- Emergency vehicle access will be maintained.
