Four Dogs Killed By Coyotes on Angelo Drive

Please see below a report from a Bel-Air neighbor:

There have been four dogs killed by coyotes in the last seven days on and near 1100 block of  Angelo Dr. There are two coyotes that have been sighted during late mornings and late afternoons. Several dog carcasses have been found. These coyotes show no fear of people. They are on the much larger size of 50-65 pounds. They are attacking dogs as packs and pose great danger even to larger dogs and small children. They killed our dog and a neighbors dog on the same night .  Please, help by contacting all the agencies posted below. The coyotes are a danger and preventive action must be taken.

I-405 Sepulveda Pass Improvements Project - Countdown to Closure II

If you cannot view HTML in your email, click here.
Wilshire Ramps
Here we go
Beginning tomorrow night, September 28, I-405 ramps between the I-10 and US 101 will begin closing. Freeway lanes will gradually be closed, beginning as early as 10 pm, until all lanes are closed at 12:01 am, Saturday, September 29.
We have been asked how Metro Bus and Rail Operations will accommodate the possibility of increased transit demand this weekend. Here is that answer.
All Metro Rail lines and Orange Line will run according to regular schedule with the following additions:
  • Red Line will run with longer-length trains; additional service will be added, if needed.
  • Blue, Expo and Orange Lines will have standby vehicles to be added, if needed.
  • Metro Rapid 761 (Van Nuys Bl/Sepulveda Pass Rapid) will run with additional buses, supplementing the existing weekend schedule.
Thank you for all your help during the Countdown to Closure II. Now it’s up to the drivers of Southern California.
