Hello from Film L.A.

We understand there has been quite a bit of confusion regarding an upcoming film production scheduled to take place this Sunday, November 16, 2014 in the late evening.  Please note that Film L.A. is the only City of Los Angeles contractor charged with facilitating all on-location filming, with final approvals being provided by our Los Angeles Police Department Contract Services Film Unit. 

With that in mind, we continue to work with the production team to ensure that any potential impacts are mitigated.  Add that the production company continues to conduct appropriate outreach to those who may be impacted by this production. 

In the interim, as part of Film L.A.’s mandate, we are charged with working with all impacted communities for the purposes of gauging concerns, questions and/or suggestions.  Knowing that, when concerns are raised, we pass them onto the production team so that the impacted constituent can rest assured that their concerns are being addressed.

All this being said, please do share with us your questions, suggestions and/or concerns as we work with the production team and your neighborhood to ensure that this upcoming production will have minimal impact.  We continue to work with the production to finalize logistics and we will be more than happy to provide clarifying information once all is finalized.
