Bel-Air Association Meeting with Councilmember Koretz

Dear Bel-Air Association Members and Community,

Representatives of your Bel-Air Association and its Land Use Team met with our Councilmember Paul Koretz (Council District 5).

We discussed adding more protections for our community to the draft amendments to the Baseline Hillside Ordinance (“BHO”), which we also expressed at the Department of City Planning’s public hearing last week.

We also confirmed his support for moving forward with the ridgeline protection ordinance next year.

Below are photos taken at the end of our meeting.

In the first photo are (from left to right) Bruce Kuyper (Bel-Air Association Director, Secretary, and Land Use Team Member), Gurmet Khara (Councilmember Koretz’ Field Deputy), Joan Pelico (Councilmember Koretz’ Chief of Staff), Paulette DuBey (Bel-Air Association's Executive Director), Councilmember Paul Koretz and Noah Muhlstein (Councilmember Koretz’ Planning Deputy).

In the second photo, the Bel-Air Association's Land Use Team Consultant Kristen Lonner is second from the left.

We continue to work diligently with our Councilmember’s office, the Department of City Planning, the Department of Building and Safety and other City departments to keep our community safe, vital and beautiful.
